I grew up in Midrand where my interest in photography started at a young age. I was the youngest member of the Lonehill Camera Club at the age of 14. After school, I studied at the College Of Digital Photography (CODP) in Saxonwold. Shortly thereafter, I started getting freelance jobs for interior photography related work. This led me to starting my business, MF Photography.
In 2016, after learning to surf and discovering my passion for the ocean, I moved to the South Coast in KwaZulu-Natal where I continued to run my business. I also volunteered with the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) where I became a first responder dealing with emergency situations. I have been fortunate enough to have been in a position that helped save lives.
In December 2020, I moved again, this time to Cape Town, where I currently live and operate my business. As a photographer who also loves to capture landscapes and aerials, there is no shortage of inspiration to be found in the beautiful and majestic Cape of Good Hope.
